new storage-based dedicated server fleet across the EU region. The older server runs on outdated hardware, and historically, it ran okayish with JetBackup; however, growing demands need much more, and that is why
Our partnership with Backuply (Softaculous) is now working on the core of backup systems and how it shapes the industry! We have offered our S1-class cPanel/WHM servers to the Backuply Server Team for testing. This may cause a backup job interruption and back-and-forth failures; we are sorry for the inconvenience, but this move will help all of us to build a better backup system.
Until 13th July, you may see fewer backups being taken or backups failing! While we are continuing our use of JetBackup, much of our server fleet has been moved to Backuply Servers, and some may use JetBackup as needed! We urge critical website owners to take a local backup if needed until 13th July. Later this month,
we will implement robust FUP and backup policies to ensure our client-side data and security remain our top priority! Our partnership with Softaculous will deliver better backups.
